Your first day at K+S Potash Canada will be spent with IT, Human Resources, and your department. It is our goal to help you feel settled in with K+S.
Time to Arrive
Please arrive at our office at 8:00am, or at a time directed by your leader. We are located at Suite 1212, 750 West Pender Street, Vancouver BC V6C 1G8. Your new colleagues look forward to greeting you!
Where to Park
If you are driving on your first day, we encourage you to make use of the paid street parking around the building. Parking is available through Impark in the building, either at daily or monthly rates. Parking is not company paid. Daily is approx. $30/day (subject to change), Monthly reserved is approx. $600 (subject to change). There may be a waiting list for monthly parking, please contact Impark to inquire. If you plan to use public transportation, the train station is less than a 5-minute walk away!
What to Wear
The office supports and encourages a "business casual" work environment. We want our employees to look and feel their best so they can accomplish great things while they are here. We expect employees to use appropriate judgement when getting ready for work and generally follow these guidelines:
Jeans are appropriate - even if it isn't Friday. Casual attire should still look professional.
If you wear it to the club, beach, or gym, it likely isn't appropriate for work.
Clothing with offensive logos are no-go’s.
Dress for the occasion to properly represent K+S in any business or client situation.
